野外遇上雷雨，钻进有硬顶的车或建筑，避开山脊、孤树、水面和金属

雷暴范围内的户外没有安全的地方。钻进硬顶的车或者建筑，敞篷车、摩托、帐篷、凉亭、树下、突出的岩石下面都不算。避开开阔地、山脊山顶、孤立的大树、水面和铁栏杆。一群人走不了就散开站。听见雷就撤，最后一声雷过去 30 分钟才算安全。

不花钱。代价是行程被打断半小时以上。难的是雷声还远的时候就肯往回走。

帐篷、凉亭、树下、岩石突出部都不算掩体。硬顶汽车算，敞篷车和摩托不算。听见雷就开始撤，不要等雨下下来。
